  Do not expect for your concerns to be taken seriously or for reasonable accountability to be taken if something goes wrong. Arrogant vet, shoddy administration and fake good reviews left on here from members of staff. Kevin the vet was very arrogant and rude to us when we brought our concerns to him, as if we dare question him or the surgery which we paid hundreds of pounds to! The surgery say they conducted an 'investigation', internally, obviously, so from previous dealings we knew any response we would get would be in their interest and incredibly biased. Their response did not actually address our concerns and was patronising, 'Sorry our notes about your dog upset you, this is why we leave notes...' . Seriously, we know why staff need to leave notes about a pet. The issue was we were not told of any problems and moreover, this affects the treatment of our dog whilst in their care. We were also told by their administrator to contact our insurance company if we don't hear anything about our claim within two weeks only to be told that you hadn't even the claim to them yet! When we brought this to their attention we were just met with cover-ups as to why the papers were not sent, indicating the claim was misplaced and then found after we had called up. It would be useful to tell customers who have paid upfront about this so-called time scale we are now hearing about for posting out insurance claims. Unicorn Vets - Handle it professionally and take accountability. I am now fully expecting another good review from a member of staff (I'd like to see Unicorn Vets try to deny this as we do have proof). Pet owners - take your pets to Christopher Carter's who are great; much more professional, honest, and better value.

  I wish it could be 5 stars but it isn't. This surgery never gave us the impression that they had a problem with my dog however the reality is they continually made negative and nasty notes which were sent to our insurance could now now affect my dogs health and us financially. We paid upfront as they didn't want to deal with our insurance. They sent out claim out late and handled it very unprofessionally as they continue to lie about why it wasn't sent out causing a considerable delay. I gave this surgery the chance to make good of the situation and was met with a very defensive and dismissive attitude.
